Anna Livia Mirror
The large mirror hanging in the bar area has a representation of Anna Livia. In James Joyce’s “Finnegan’s Wake”, Anna Livia is Finnegan’s wife. Finnegan’s character in the story represents Dublin City, and Anna Livia represents the River Liffey on which Dublin is built. Finnegan is also very famous for waking up at his own wake (funeral) when whiskey is spilt on the corpse.
